Most questions land in one of three buckets. A minute here often beats waiting on a reply.
Scans aren't registering
A barcode won't read, or an item scans but never shows up in your list.
- Confirm the app has camera permission in your device settings
- Clean the lens and try a printed label instead of a phone screen
- Check your connection — scans queue offline and can look stalled
- Pull down to refresh the list before assuming the scan was lost
Can't get signed in
Login loops, sudden sign-outs, or an employee locked out mid-shift.
- Use "Forgot password" before creating a second account
- Employee logins are created by the account owner, not self-serve
- Signing in on a new device can end the session on the old one
- Still stuck? Send us the email address on the account
Questions about the bill
Invoices, receipts, card changes and anything that looks wrong on a charge.
- Include the invoice number so we can pull it up right away
- Write in from the email address on the account
- Card updates go through a secure Stripe link we send you
- Need a copy of a past receipt? Just ask and we'll resend it
Common questions
Short answers to what comes up most.
How do I reach a real person fast?
Call (480) 665-2955 during Arizona business hours, or email support@goodbidders.com. If your operation is stopped, mark the message Urgent in the form above — those get looked at ahead of everything else.
The mobile app is crashing or won't open
Force close the app and reopen it, then confirm you're on the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. If it still won't start, reinstalling clears a bad cached session — your data lives in the cloud, so nothing is lost.
If it keeps happening, send us your device model, OS version and app version. That combination is usually enough for us to reproduce it.
The scanner won't read a barcode
Start with camera permission in your device settings, then try a clean, flat printed label under good light. Damaged, wrinkled or shrink-wrapped labels are the usual culprit. If one specific code fails every time, send us a photo of it and the item it came from.
How do I add or remove an employee?
The account owner creates employee logins from the user management area of the dashboard and controls which systems each person can open. Removing someone revokes access right away, but their past scan history stays attached to your account for reporting.
A listing didn't post to the marketplace
Check that the marketplace account is still connected — access tokens expire and need reauthorizing every so often. Missing required item specifics or an unmatched category will also block a listing. Send us the lot number and we'll look at the exact error the marketplace returned.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Item and reporting data exports to CSV from the dashboard and it's yours to keep. If you need a full export of everything on the account — including archived cycles — ask and we'll put it together for you.
I found a bug. What should I include?
Three things help most: what you were doing right before it happened, what you expected to see, and the exact error text or a screenshot. Add the lot or invoice number if it's tied to a specific record — that lets us look at the real data instead of guessing.
I have a question about my plan or billing
Write to us from the email address on the account and include the invoice number if there's one involved. We'll look at your specific account rather than guessing from a general answer.
Where's your privacy policy?
It's at goodbidders.com/privacy.html, along with the terms of service. If you need a signed data processing agreement for your own compliance file, just ask.
